How buying a license key works, from checkout to activation

All products are digital. Nothing is shipped: after payment you receive a license key by email and download the software from the maker’s own website.

1. Choose your software

Each product page states the edition, length of the subscription, number of devices, supported platforms and, where it applies, the region in which the key can be activated. Please check these details before you buy.

2. Pay securely

Prices are shown in US dollars and are the full amount you pay. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order. We do not see or store your full card number. An account is created for you at checkout so you can see your orders and keys later.

3. Get your key by email

You receive an order confirmation email straight after payment, then a second email with your license key and activation steps, usually within 15 minutes of successful payment and at most 6 hours. You can also see your orders in My account.

4. Activate with the maker

When you activate the software you agree to the maker’s own license agreement. Some makers require you to create an account with them and enter payment details to activate a subscription, and their subscriptions may renew automatically at the maker’s price. You can turn auto-renewal off in your account with the maker.

If something goes wrong

• Key not arrived: check your spam or junk folder and make sure the email address on your order is correct. If it has not arrived within 6 hours, contact us and you can cancel for a full refund.

• Changed your mind: cancel within 15 minutes of paying, or any time before your key is emailed, for a full refund.

• Key does not work: contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the error. We send a working replacement key; if we cannot, we refund you in full.

• Charged twice or charged in error: we refund the extra charge in full.
